She earned her bachelor’s degree in physician assistant studies from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. She spends time educating patients about their health and provides them with achievable changes to ensure a healthful lifestyle.

Bianca Garcia is board-certified in Family Medicine.

Dr. Garcia graduated from Hofstra University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Minor in Biology. She obtained a Doctor of Medicine from Ross University School of Medicine in 2011. She completed her Residency in Family Medicine at South Nassau Communities Hospital.

Prior to joining NY Health, Dr. Garcia practiced at Plainview Primary Care, a division of ProHealth Care Associates.

Dr. Garcia is fluent in Spanish.

John Muratori, MD

John Muratori, MD is a board-certified Family Medicine physician with over twenty years of medical experience.

Dr. Muratori received a Doctor of Medicine from St. George’s University School of Medicine in West Indies, Grenada. He completed a Family Medicine Residency at Southside Hospital, which he is affiliated with.

Prior to joining New York Health, Dr. Muratori has served as Director of the Department of Family Medicine at Southside Hospital, Medical Director of Ocean Family Medicine, and Medical Director of Kindred at Home.

Currently, he is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Hofstra University. He is a Diplomate for the American Board of Family Medicine. Additionally, he is on the Board of Directors for Mondays at Racine, Inc, and Practice Management of America, Inc.

Christina Errichiello, PA-C

Christina L. Errichiello, MPAS, PA-C, is an NCCPA board-certified Physician Assistant who specializes in Family Medicine. Christina completed her undergraduate degree at Fordham University in the Bronx, NY in 2015. Christina then earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Touro College in 2018. She completed rotations in various primary care offices throughout her graduate program during which she decided to pursue a career as a Family Medicine PA. Christina joined the team at DiGiovanna Family Health and Wellness Center, now a division of NY Health, in April 2018.

 

Michael J. DiGiovanna D.O., CPI

Michael J. DiGiovanna D.O., CPI is board-certified in Family Practice.

Dr. Michael J. DiGiovanna received his undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree from the New York Institute of Technology in Old Westbury, NY in 1982, graduating summa cum laude and the class Valedictorian. Dr. DiGiovanna graduated from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, NY in 1987, after having completed an undergraduate fellowship specializing in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine under the mentorship of Stanley Schiowitz, D.O. He completed his rotating internship at Coney Hospital in Brooklyn, NY in 1988. He is board-certified in Family Medicine by the American College of Osteopathic Family Practitioners since 1995.

He is a Certified Physician Investigator in clinical research and has been the Principal Investigator in over 400 clinical trials. He is currently Senior Medical Director of Research & Development at ALTuCELL, Inc., a biopharmaceutical company seeking a cure for Type 1 diabetes mellitus and several neurodegenerative conditions. 

He has been the Chairman of the Family Practice Departments at several institutions, sat on the board of directors for the NY State Osteopathic Medical Society, and was the Osteopathic representative to the NY State Medicare Carriers Advisory Committee for many years.  He is the author of many publications, including “An Osteopathic Approach to Diagnosis and Treatment.”

Prior to joining NY Health, Michael J. DiGiovanna D.O., CPI joined the DiGiovanna Family Health & Wellness Center and continues the Osteopathic and Family Practice tradition begun by his parents.

Catrina Grefe, MS, RN-BC, AGNP-C

Catrina Grefe, MS, RN-BC, AGNP-C is an Adult-Gero Nurse Practitioner. She is board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

In 2006, she began nursing as a licensed practical nurse. She attended Suffolk County Community College where she received an Associate Degree in Science with a Major in Nursing, obtaining her Registered Nurse license. Thereafter, Catrina attended St. Joseph’s College and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree with a major in Nursing. 

She worked as an RN with an extensive background in Medical-Surgical Nursing. Toward the end of her career path as an RN, she began working at a Magnet-recognized hospital. Shortly after, she became a nurse manager. Confident and comfortable with the desire for continuous growth, Catrina pursued a Master of Science degree in Adult-Gerontology at SUNY Stony Brook University where she graduated with High Honors and was inducted into the “Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.” 

Catrina is skilled in Adult Medicine, Bariatric patient education, and patient and family education. She has played an essential role in working in interdisciplinary teams with Primary MD’s, Surgeons, RN’s, surgical PA’s, Physical Therapists, Social Workers, and Care Managers. 

Prior to joining New York Health, Catrina worked at PBMC Northwell Health Primary collaborating with Dr. Seodat. As a Nurse Practitioner, Catrina manages the patient’s overall care, prescribing medications and treatments, to conducting and interpreting diagnostic tests, diagnosing, and treating chronic and acute conditions. Catrina assists in performing procedures and educating patients on positive health-promoting lifestyle choices and disease, injury, and illness prevention.
