Alexandra Mathews, PA-C, is a graduate of Farmingdale State College, receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/BioScience (Summa Cum Laude). She completed her Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Hofstra University in 2014.

Alexandra joined Dr. Mark Jagust's family medicine practice in 2015. She enjoys the field of family medicine because it affords her the opportunity to develop a long-standing relationship with her patients and follow them over the years. Some of her focuses include hypertension, diabetes, thyroid disease, and coronary artery disease.

Alexandra and her husband, Rob, reside on Long Island and have two children, Lea and Eliana. She enjoys spending time with her family, their dog, Cooper, and is an avid Billy Joel fan.
