Dr. Nickolas Frangis graduated with a Bachelor in Human Kinetics, majoring in Movement Science from the University of Windsor, Ontario, Canada in 1999. He then continued his education at Touro College School of Health Sciences by completing a Bachelor of Science in Health Science and a Master of Science in Physical Therapy in 2002. He began his career as a physical therapist in 2002, working in a Long Island rehabilitation hospital. Nick furthered his learning and completed his clinical Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2006.
Since graduating, he has worked in several physical therapy settings including: acute inpatient rehabilitation, acute hospital care, outpatient muscle tone clinic assisting in screening for therapeutic botox injections and assessing interthecal Baclofen pump trials, outpatient orthopedics, homecare and outpatient lymphedema clinic. Throughout his years of practice, Dr. Frangis has concentrated his continuing education courses on outpatient orthopedic physical therapy courses and advanced manual therapy courses. He has completed the required training and has become a Certified Lymphedema Therapist.
Dr. Frangis is currently a co-owner of a physical therapy practice since 2009. His education, training and interests have fueled a desire to create a physical therapy clinic which focuses on the patient as a whole and through an individualized treatment approach.
