Dr. Michel Apoj is a board-certified urologist who treats prostate, kidney, bladder, and testicular cancers, as well as routine and complex urologic conditions. He has a strong interest in the advanced surgical management of erectile dysfunction, including penile implant surgery. He works with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans that prioritize oncologic outcomes and quality of life.

Dr. Apoj earned his Doctor of Medicine from Boston University School of Medicine after completing his Bachelor of Arts and Science in Biology at Tufts University. He completed his Urology Residency at Boston University School of Medicine and Boston Medical Center. Dr. Apoj is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a member of the American Urological Association.

Dr. Apoj’s research has focused on prosthetic and reconstructive urology and urologic trauma, including penile implant surgery, postoperative management, surgical techniques, and complex genitourinary injuries. He has authored and contributed to numerous peer-reviewed publications examining penile prosthesis outcomes, reconstructive techniques, and trauma-related outcomes. His clinical approach emphasizes evidence-based treatment, thoughtful communication, and individualized care tailored to each patient’s goals.
