Jason Ung, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. He earned his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Bridgeport, where he completed clinical rotations in urology, general surgery, emergency medicine, family medicine, pediatrics, OB/GYN, psychiatry, and internal medicine.
With a strong focus in urology, Jason trained at Yale New Haven Health and Montefiore Medical Center, assisting in diagnostic testing, procedures, and surgical cases, including cystoscopies, prostate biopsies, bladder scans, and robotic-assisted surgeries. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Health from the University of Houston.
Before becoming a PA, Jason gained hands-on experience as an ICU Patient Care Technician at UTMB League City Hospital, caring for critically ill and COVID-19 patients. He is certified in Basic and Advanced Life Support and is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Outside of clinical practice, Jason has participated in global medical missions, volunteered with organizations such as Project C.U.R.E. and local food pantries, and held leadership roles in community and academic groups. His dedication to service, clinical excellence, and teamwork drives his commitment to improving patient outcomes.
