Yuly Chalik, MD, is a board-certified urologist with over thirty years of experience specializing in the treatment of all urological conditions. Dr. Chalik has special expertise in treating patients with urological stones, benign prostatic hyperplasia, and erectile dysfunction. He has been named one of “America’s Top Urologists” for multiple years.
Dr. Chalik completed medical school and received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in NYC. Dr. Chalik successfully completed his general surgery and urological residency and training at top-rated New York University Medical Center programs, where he also served as Chief Urology Resident. Dr. Chalik teaches and supervises residents and medical students at New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.
Serving his community in the medical field has always been a dream and priority for Dr. Chalik, growing up in a small town in Moldova where his grandfather was a family physician for over half of the 20th century. He fulfilled his dreams after immigrating to the US from USSR and settling in the field of urology upon falling in love with this subspecialty while rotating as a medical student at the Elmhurst Hospital in Queens. Dr. Chalik has never regretted his career decision and thinks his best years to serve his community are yet to come.
He’s a big soccer fan, and enjoys tennis and skiing activities. Dr. Chalik speaks English and Russian fluently.
