Dr. Thomas Pustorino is a board-certified internal medicine physician, dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. Dr. Pustorino earned both his Doctor of Medicine and Master of Public Health degrees from
St. George’s University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science from Marist College. He completed his internal medicine residency at Overlook Medical Center, where he led several quality improvement initiatives. His research is focused on reducing hospital-acquired infections and addressing racial and ethnic disparities in urinary catheter use. His work has been published in Mycopathologia and presented at national conferences such as IDWeek.
Beyond clinical care, Dr. Pustorino is passionate about advancing innovation and education in medicine. He developed a point-of-care ultrasound curriculum aimed at reducing hospital stays and has served on multiple hospital committees focused on program development and organ donation.
