Tatiana Ambarus, MD, is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist with decades of experience providing comprehensive women’s health care in both hospital-based and outpatient settings. She is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and holds active medical licenses in New York and New Jersey. Dr. Ambarus earned her medical degree from Libre University School of Medicine in Colombia and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center.

Dr. Ambarus has extensive experience in obstetric and gynecologic care, including prenatal care, labor and delivery, gynecologic surgery, and the management of routine and high-risk conditions. She previously practiced for many years at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center and Barnabas Health Medical Group, where she provided inpatient and outpatient care and worked closely with multidisciplinary teams to support patient safety and quality outcomes.

Dr. Ambarus has joined NY Health as an obstetrician-gynecologist, where she provides comprehensive gynecologic and women’s health services. Her background also includes resident education, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical research. She remains committed to delivering thorough, patient-focused care and supporting women throughout all stages of their health care needs.
