Dr. Stephanie Hanchuk is a board-certified urologic surgeon who specializes in treating kidney stones, enlarged prostates (BPH), male and female sexual health, urinary incontinence, and voiding dysfunction.
Dr. Hanchuk is committed to exceptional patient care and believes that simply listening can put any patient at ease. She looks forward to treating her patients with the utmost care and providing them with the best clinical and surgical experiences.
She received her Bachelor of Arts from Columbia University as a named John Jay Scholar before receiving her medical degree from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She completed her surgical training at Yale School of Medicine in the Department of Urology where she was awarded the prestigious Richard Dean Compassionate Care Award for her excellence in patient care.
Dr. Hanchuk is a member of the American Urologic Association and Society of Women in Urology. She has served on numerous committees to aid in the recruitment and advancement of female surgeons in Urology.
When Dr. Hanchuk is not at work, she enjoys taking her dog, Shay, for long walks in the park, doing yoga, and playing tennis.
