Sherman Chan, MD, is a board-certified urologist treating patients in Brooklyn, Queens, New York City, and the surrounding communities with a full range of urological services since 2011. He provides in-office urodynamic studies, bladder and kidney ultrasounds, prostate cancer screening, and general consultations and treatments for a wide range of urologic conditions. Treatment is available for issues including benign and malignant prostate conditions, kidney stones, urinary tract infections, incontinence, frequent urination, male sexual function and men's health issues. He offers in-office procedures such as MRI fusion prostate biopsy, lithotripsy of kidney stones, vasectomy and Urolift. For his undergraduate degree, Dr. Chan attended New York University. He pursued his medical degree at the State University of New York Downstate Medical School, where he received distinction in research. Dr. Chan continued his medical education at Maimonides Medical Center, where he received general surgery and urology training and served as the Chief Urology Resident. He is certified by the American Board of Urology. He has been a designated Urolift Center of Excellence annually since 2020 and has been named a Castle Connolly Top Doctor annually since 2021.
