Myrta Isabel Olivera-Dubón, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician dedicated to providing comprehensive, evidence-based care. She is committed to preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and improving patient outcomes through individualized treatment and patient education.

Dr. Olivera-Dubón earned her Doctor of Medicine from Universidad Central del Caribe School of Medicine after completing her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Spanish Literature at The George Washington University. She completed her Family Medicine Residency at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell Glen Cove Hospital, where she pursued specialty training in obesity medicine and aesthetic medicine.

Throughout her training, Dr. Olivera-Dubón participated in clinical research focused on hereditary colorectal cancer, cancer genetics, and health disparities, resulting in multiple peer-reviewed publications and presentations. She has also held leadership roles within her residency program, serving on the Diabetes, Clinic, and Wellness Committees. She remains committed to advancing patient care through research, quality improvement, and community service.
