Mindy L. Shaffran, MD, is board certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology. Dr. Shaffran received her undergraduate degree from the City College of New York Sophie Davis Center for Biomedical Education and attended medical school at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. She completed her Obstetrics & Gynecology Internship and Residency at Stony Brook University Hospital. She has been in practice in Suffolk County for 35 years and offers a broad array of Women’s health services and advanced training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. Dr. Shaffran is a Fellow in the American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists and a member of the New York State Medical Society, the Suffolk County Medical Society, and the Suffolk County Obstetrics & Gynecology Society. She was named one of "America’s Top Ob/Gyn" by the Consumer’s Research Council of America, and in 2022, she was awarded as a “NY Top Doctor.” “Many patients began seeing me when I was fresh out of residency.
