Jude Appiah, MD, is a urologist providing comprehensive urologic care to our patients in Brooklyn. He completed his medical education at NYU School of Medicine, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine, following a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Brown University. He completed his urology residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, where he trained under experienced urologists across a broad range of clinical care.
Dr. Appiah is committed to providing excellent, patient-centered urologic care and helping patients understand their conditions and treatment options. His clinical interests encompass general urology, and he looks forward to serving the Brooklyn community through New York Health.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Appiah has been actively involved in mentoring medical students and junior residents, helping guide their career development and connecting them with opportunities within the urology community. He has also contributed to research in urology and other areas of medicine, with publications examining topics including kidney stones and heart failure risk, patient race and physician visit time in outpatient urology, and other clinical and scientific topics.
