Dr. Felix Davelman is a board-certified urologist with more than 15 years of experience delivering comprehensive urologic care. Since 2008, he has served as a practicing urologist at Crystal Run Healthcare, where he played an integral role in expanding access to high-quality specialty care in underserved areas. His clinical interests span general urology, including kidney stone management, urologic oncology, and male reproductive health.
A dedicated physician committed to continuity of care and community service, Dr. Davelman continues to make a lasting impact on patients and future healthcare professionals alike.
Dr. Davelman completed his urology residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, where he also served as Chief Resident. His early research contributions include publications on erectile dysfunction, urinary incontinence, and surgical techniques in nephrectomy. He earned his medical degree from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine and holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Hunter College.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Davelman is passionate about education and mentorship. He has been a regular guest lecturer at the Pine Bush Summer Medical Academy for the past decade, inspiring high school students to pursue careers in healthcare. He also mentors nurse practitioners and medical students interested in urology, with several mentees advancing to residency training in the specialty.
Dr. Davelman holds active staff appointments at Garnet Health Medical Center, Saint Anthony Community Hospital, and Bon Secours Community Hospital. He is a former partner of Crystal Run Healthcare and led the development of its Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation department.
