Dr. Farzana Garcia is a dedicated obstetrician-gynecologist who earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, New York.
She completed her comprehensive residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, New Jersey, where she distinguished herself as Chief Resident during her final year. Her educational foundation includes a Bachelor of Science in Psychology/Health Sciences from Stony Brook University.
Dr. Garcia maintains an active research profile, focusing on innovative approaches to gynecological conditions and maternal-fetal medicine. Her research includes her work on novel surgical approaches for the transverse vaginal septum. She has also conducted research on maternal-fetal medicine indicators and contributed to ovarian cancer biomarker research at Stony Brook University, focusing on potential diagnostic markers for female reproductive system cancers.
