Dr. Edward Zoltan is a board-certified urologist. Prior to his employment with New York Health, Dr. Zoltan was the Director of Voiding Dysfunction at New York Methodist Hospital for the past eight years. He was actively involved in teaching residents of the Weil Cornell Urology Department. He has been an instrumental part in bringing state-of-the-art urology to Brooklyn, his hometown. Dr. Zoltan has spent most of his life in Brooklyn and currently resides there with his family. Dr. Zoltan brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our group.
Dr. Zoltan completed his Bachelor’s Degree at Yeshiva University, graduating magna cum laude. He then earned his Medical Degree from the Albert Einstein School of Medicine, and completed his Residency at the prestigious University of Pennsylvania. He then undertook a very specialized fellowship in Voiding Dysfunction/ Neurourology at the prestigious Weill Cornell Medical College.
The recipient of many awards and accolades, Dr. Zoltan has been recognized by his colleagues for his outstanding patient care. He practices urology with compassion and a love of the field. His approach to patient care is based on a deep sense of ethics, while striving to always provide a customized approach of the latest techniques and technologies to each patient. Dr. Zoltan is currently involved in many different types of research projects in an effort to find better treatment for common urologic problems.
As a board-certified surgeon, Dr. Zoltan is a fellow of the American Academy of Urology, American College of Surgeons, and the New York section of urology.
He is skilled and experienced in Urolift.
Dr. Zoltan has been heavily involved in the community, being a member of the Albert Einstein College of Medical Alumni Board, he presents educational talks in urology at local community centers and worked with local high schools to encourage careers in science.
In addition to his research and community outreach, Dr. Zoltan enjoys playing tennis, baseball, and skiing. He is also a huge sports enthusiast. A multi-linguist, he is fluent in Yiddish, Hebrew, Russian and Ukrainian. When you meet Dr. Zoltan, you will see a man who loves what he does as it is evident in his continuous smile and humor.
