Internal Medicine Physician Dr. Ranjana Mehta Joins New York Health

East Moriches, NY, June 13, 2025 - New York Health (NY Health) is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Ranjana Mehta, a board-certified internal medicine physician with over 25 years of experience, to its esteemed primary care team.

Dr. Mehta completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at Kasturba Medical College in India. Throughout her medical career, she pursued a series of distinguished internships and fellowships, including a Pulmonary Disease Fellowship at Mount Sinai Services at Elmhurst Hospital Center.

Dr. Mehta is a strong advocate for patient relationships. Her practice embraces diversity, as she serves patients from various cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. Through her expertise, she provides chronic disease management and coordinates care to ensure the best outcomes for her patients.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Mehta is passionate about mentoring the next generation of healthcare professionals. She serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Stony Brook University and is affiliated with Peconic Bay Medical Center.
