Laura Abdul, BS, CSSGB, is our Director of Operations for Women’s Health, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Suffolk Obstetrics & Gynecology a division of NY Health.

With over 20 years of experience as an administrator in large multispecialty groups, Laura joined the Suffolk OBGYN team in 2020. Her healthcare career began in business development and evolved into a leadership role overseeing operations, including project management, organizational development, process improvement, M&A, and team development.

Over the past decade, Laura has successfully led the implementation and management of several Quad A (AAAASF) accredited office-based surgical practices, driving efficiency and ensuring positive patient outcomes in a physician-controlled setting.

In addition to her professional work, Laura is deeply committed to community involvement. She has served as Treasurer on multiple volunteer boards, where she was responsible for managing finances, including budgeting, tracking income and expenses, and ensuring financial compliance.

Laura has a bachelor’s of science in Business Management from Florida State University, and is a Certified Six Sigma Green Belt.
