Suman Reejsinghani, M.D., a board-certified neurologist, has joined New York Health’s expanding multi-specialty practice. With over thirty years of experience, he treats a myriad of disease states including epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, dementia, and migraines. He was interested in joining New York Health, as it represents an opportunity to take its inherent patient-centric approach to a new level. Already encompassing internal medicine, nephrology, urology, rheumatology, breast, and general surgery, New York Health provides personalized, highly professional care to all of its patients. In 1979, Dr. Reejsinghani completed his residency in Neurology at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Manhattan, and his fellowship in EMG and EEG at Downstate University in Brooklyn, NY in 1980. He started his practice in Brooklyn in 1988 with Queens-Long Island Medical Group. Rising through management, he also served as Medical Director and later as Chief Executive Officer. Dr. Reejsinghani recently served part-time as Chief of Neurology/Stroke Director at Long Island Jewish-Forest Hills Hospital (Northwell Health).
