Irwin Leventhal, M.D. is a skilled, board-certified urologist, who works out of New York Health’s Central Park location, at 12 East 86th Street.
Dr. Leventhal earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Stony Brook University and his Medical Degree from New York Medical College. Dr. Leventhal then completed his Residency in Urology at Mount Sinai Medical Center.
Dr. Leventhal is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor of Urology at the Mt Sinai Medical Center and an Assistant Attending Physician at Elmhurst Hospital Center. During his time as an instructor, Dr. Leventhal supervised two outpatient clinics per week and supervising two operative cases per week.
Over the past 10 years, Dr. Leventhal had over 2,000 cases and has supervised over 24,000 outpatients. He has also made clinical teaching in-patient rounds on several hundred patients.
Dr. Leventhal is certified by the American Board of Urology.
